Different types of buildings play different role in the progress of the game. Everything under this part can be access from the “Build” icon in the game.

Managing the second part is more like playing a sports game in manager mode, which can be accessed through the “Competition” icon in the game. The competition section features Challenges, My Team, Recruitment, Scoreboard, and Leaderboard section, through which you build, manage and challenge fellow players to either football or basketball matches. Players with better stats and level becomes available to recruit as you level up in the game.

Facebook eludes the public market like a mirage. The company will not be going public until 2012.

An investor and board member at Facebook, Peter Thiel, said Monday in an interview with FOX Business Network that the company will probably remain close to the public market until 2012 at the earliest.

“[Facebook] probably will IPO at some point. The lesson from Google seems to be that you don’t go public until very late in the process. This is a by-product of Sarbanes-Oxley. At least two years. I think the company is on record saying it will not go public until 2012 at the earliest.”

Earlier it was rumored that Facebook IPO might happen this year, but then new rumors left everyone accepting that Facebook IPO will not happen until 2011. Now, not until 2012.

Facebook’s phenomenal growth has got Wall Street eager to cash in on the company’s fortune.

Candy Shop is one of the emerging game on Facebook. The game is brought to Facebook by Tall Tree Games.

fb candyshop2 300x200 Facebook Game Review: Candy ShopCandy Shop, as the name suggest is a businness sim game, where players manage their candy shop. Most casual game players will be familiar with such games. The basic aim of the game is to make candies and sell it, slowly expanding your business.

There are different types of chocolates, candies, soft candies, and baked goods that can be prepared as one progress in the game. Different items have specific level requirements in order to be able to make them. Also, in order to prepare them, you must have the required machines, where you click to gather the ingredients and click when prompted to prepare the candy step by step. Each type of candy requires different amount of time to get prepared, and which should be placed in the display case to start selling them. Also, if you do not transfer a finished product to the display case in time, it gets burned.

fb candyshop3 300x207 Facebook Game Review: Candy ShopEach prepared candy have a fixed number of servings and once it is kept on display, customers starts coming into the shop and make their purchases. The users avatar carter to their needs automatically as long as some candies are there in the display case.

The game also features two fb candyshop4 300x228 Facebook Game Review: Candy Shoptemporary workers who can be seen sweeping the floor. As of now they don’t seem to have any use, as they keep on sweeping even if there are no visible thrash.

Unlink other similar business sim games, the game lacks active gameplay and competion. What i have noticed is that if some specific product on display has only few servings left or if all the prepared candies are sold, the player’s avatar just stay at the register until the customer stomps out of the shop. But there is no way to know which product the customer needs. Apart from getting angry and walking out the door, customer satisfaction doesn’t seem to play much in the progress of the game.

There are goals to complete, which are mostly about making new recipe and reaching particular level. The goals are shown on the left side of the game screen.

Like any other social game, players can send and receive gifts, invite friends to be neighbors, share bonuses, and ask each other’s help to be a sweeper icon smile Facebook Game Review: Candy Shop , may be a player’s friends can get most respectable job once the shop grows into a big establishment. Apart from gifting and visiting friends’ shop, players can also collect tips from each other and hire one another as workers. On top of that, player can share extra servings with friends wherever a recipe is prepared by publishing. Player gets half the amount of servings of the particular recipe they share in their gift box.

Detail information of each recipe is given in the recipe book. Players can also decorate their shop as well as their avatar.

The game is for very casual players as it lacks competitive and strategic play. The game provides little of no new feature that is notable. Though it was among the emerging game of the week, according to appdata, the game lacks what it takes to stay on the top ten list for long or am i wrong?
