Watching the Olympics? Perhaps you’d like these new running shoes or this set of weights. It’s a truly brilliant tactic to get more information about the average Facebook’s user’s life.
Ulterior motive or not, this new update looks like a fun addition to Facebook’s repertoire. While some Facebook users are getting exasperated from having to see all the latest whines and rants of friends and coworkers littering up the News Feed, some are genuinely interested in what others are doing right now. Oh look, a friend’s attending a concert, maybe I should go too! Friend saying cuisine is superb at this restaurant, must try it next time then! Facebook statuses using this feature will surely stand out and offer a fun way to discover new things to do and places to be while browsing the News Feed.
