Facebook is by far the greatest social networking website ever built. The entire world is tuning into Facebook, becomming addicted to it like a drug. It’s the reason why we get so upset, frusterated, and angry when we can’t log into our Facebook account.

Define Your Problem

So why is it that you can’t log into your account? We recently surveyed the readers of Facebook Login, you may have participated yourself (the survey is still running, participate by answering the question “What is your most common Facebook Login problem?” in the top right of this page), and discovered that most common problem is that people simply cannot log into their Facebook account, and thus are unable to access their profile, friends, inbox, pictures, etc.

Can’t Access Your Account?

If you can’t log into your account, the first thing you need to do is visit our Facebook Login Help page. This is the definitive resource for helping you get back into your account. If the information on this page dosn’t help, you may need to contact Facebook directly. This is easier said than done, it took me a long time just to find an email address for support. Send your Facebook Support emails to support@facebook.com. I’ve yet to find a phone number for support, I don’t think it exists.

Is Facebook Being Blocked?

If your internet provider (employer, school, government, ISP, etc) is blocking access to Facebook, how are you going to log in? The answer is through the use of a Facebook Proxy Server. Facebook Login Troubleshooting

If technical problems are the reason you can’t log into facebook, it’s time to start troubleshooting.

Check your web browser

If you have more than one web browser, try opening facebook in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Google Chrome.

Enable cookies and javascript

Make sure you have cookies and javascriptenabled in your browser.

Firewall settings

Check your firewall settings for and make sure port 80 is open.

    I don’t understand why i can’t get help with my games. i can no longer play any of them what has happned? they are all on facebook. i play who want’s to be a millionaire, garden of time’s farmville. Farmville is a big joke now can play maybe 5 min . can’t get on any of them anymore.

    I was logged into FB and was reading through wall posts when suddenly I was logged out. I can not log back in. I put my password in and hit the “log in” button and my password goes blank but it doesn’t log me in. I had tried logging in with my husband’s account as well as my 2 sons’ accounts with the same results. Is anyone else having this problem and how do I resolve it?

    I have not been able to get into my homepage for several days now. All I get is the thin blue border lines. I can click the arrow next to the Home button at the top and can bring up security, general, etc. I did notice that there are 2 or 3 ‘active sessions’ going on from different cities than mine. I tried clicking on end activity but nothing happens. Is this a hack? I have tried everyway I can think of to sign into Facebook.

    I’m trying to add another email address because my hotmail address doesn’t send notifications. However, when going through the procedure and reaching the end, where I’m told that a confirmation email will be sent to the new email address, none arrives. I’ve checked that it’s not been filtered into a spam list. There’s just nothing. I should also mention that I don’t think mu7ch of any company that doesn’t leave a proper way of contacting them.

    I am receiving pop up posts intended for my daughter Stacy Chiron from FReinds of hers,
    These are annoying noisy interruptions .

    All my Facebook Notes are gone. They were there as of about 20 minutes ago, and have all disappeared. These date back to 2009. Did you guys just experience an outage or a cyber-attack?

    Who can I contact about games charging me Facebook credits but not giving me the extra bubbles or lives or whatever I was purchasing? It has happended about 5 or 6 times in Bubblewitch and a couple of times in BubbleSaga.

    my fb acct has been hacked…..whoevr hacked my page has changed my user name from jamil (dj jamil) sanders to james sanders… and all of friends are recieving posting’s of sneakers that i am not even sending or posting…… and now i cannot even access that acct using my password….. apparently my password has been compramised as well….. what can i do to stop this hacker from useing my acct’.. or even get it back ??? i have already created a new acct….. but my old acct still has a lot a pic’s that i want 2 get off of the old acct….
