Facebook is by far the greatest social networking website ever built. The entire world is tuning into Facebook, becomming addicted to it like a drug. It’s the reason why we get so upset, frusterated, and angry when we can’t log into our Facebook account.

Define Your Problem

So why is it that you can’t log into your account? We recently surveyed the readers of Facebook Login, you may have participated yourself (the survey is still running, participate by answering the question “What is your most common Facebook Login problem?” in the top right of this page), and discovered that most common problem is that people simply cannot log into their Facebook account, and thus are unable to access their profile, friends, inbox, pictures, etc.

Can’t Access Your Account?

If you can’t log into your account, the first thing you need to do is visit our Facebook Login Help page. This is the definitive resource for helping you get back into your account. If the information on this page dosn’t help, you may need to contact Facebook directly. This is easier said than done, it took me a long time just to find an email address for support. Send your Facebook Support emails to support@facebook.com. I’ve yet to find a phone number for support, I don’t think it exists.

Is Facebook Being Blocked?

If your internet provider (employer, school, government, ISP, etc) is blocking access to Facebook, how are you going to log in? The answer is through the use of a Facebook Proxy Server. Facebook Login Troubleshooting

If technical problems are the reason you can’t log into facebook, it’s time to start troubleshooting.

Check your web browser

If you have more than one web browser, try opening facebook in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Google Chrome.

Enable cookies and javascript

Make sure you have cookies and javascriptenabled in your browser.

Firewall settings

Check your firewall settings for and make sure port 80 is open.

    This is a problem on my DROID. If I log onto my facebook account on my desktop, everything is correct. If I lof onto facebook on my DROID the names on my contacts have not been updated. It involes two relatives (Father and Son) who were using there names without a middle initial. When I updated my contacts the son had both facebook links and the father had none. They included their initials and it was corrected on my desktop but not on my DROID. Now I cannot get the facebook to link to either the father or the son. How do I fix this?

    why i can’t see all of the my friend’s pictures when someone tag on her? Should be 34 pictures, but i only can see 8 pictures.

    My account says that there is no facebook account associated with my e-mail. But i had played 2 hours before hand. That was 3 days ago. HELP ME!! I have spent money on apps and i have years of pictures of my children on there. PLEASE HELP

    I must have created two accounts Rik Lapham and Richard Myron Lapham. But whenever I go to Facebook.com lately, it automatically brings up Richard Myron Lapham. In other words, I can’t get to a blank signin page to enter “Rik Lapham” & the pasword. I’ve tried various things to try to login to Rik Lapham, but I’m not able to do so. (That is where most of my activity was so I want to get back to it, but can’t.) Any ideas?

    I can’ access my profile page nor anyone else’s! All I can see and access are the News feeds. I have a businessage and cannot acccess that either! A blank screen appears.

    i have tried all of the following already and still nothing:

    * deleted all my applications
    * cleared cache on browser
    * tried different browsers
    * tried different computers

    NOTHING WORKS!! it’s been 2 days already – It is July 22nd!
