Facebook is by far the greatest social networking website ever built. The entire world is tuning into Facebook, becomming addicted to it like a drug. It’s the reason why we get so upset, frusterated, and angry when we can’t log into our Facebook account.

Define Your Problem

So why is it that you can’t log into your account? We recently surveyed the readers of Facebook Login, you may have participated yourself (the survey is still running, participate by answering the question “What is your most common Facebook Login problem?” in the top right of this page), and discovered that most common problem is that people simply cannot log into their Facebook account, and thus are unable to access their profile, friends, inbox, pictures, etc.

Can’t Access Your Account?

If you can’t log into your account, the first thing you need to do is visit our Facebook Login Help page. This is the definitive resource for helping you get back into your account. If the information on this page dosn’t help, you may need to contact Facebook directly. This is easier said than done, it took me a long time just to find an email address for support. Send your Facebook Support emails to support@facebook.com. I’ve yet to find a phone number for support, I don’t think it exists.

Is Facebook Being Blocked?

If your internet provider (employer, school, government, ISP, etc) is blocking access to Facebook, how are you going to log in? The answer is through the use of a Facebook Proxy Server. Facebook Login Troubleshooting

If technical problems are the reason you can’t log into facebook, it’s time to start troubleshooting.

Check your web browser

If you have more than one web browser, try opening facebook in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Google Chrome.

Enable cookies and javascript

Make sure you have cookies and javascriptenabled in your browser.

Firewall settings

Check your firewall settings for and make sure port 80 is open.

    im trying to put money on one of the games on facebook, it frontierville,but i cant because as i go thru the steps it get to a point where it saids,” the this e mail address is not is the system. i have no idea of what its talking about all my mail from face book goes to this e mail address with no problem, can someone please tell me what im doing or not doing to fix this problem

    i log into facebook from my phone. When i am logged in tryin to leave comments or look at pictures it knocks me off & makes me log back in. It does this numerous times & finally it says that i have too many failed log in attempts & wont let me log in at all. It’s very aggravating, I never had this issue with Myspace.

    I’ve tried all of your suggestions, none of them seem to work . I recently changed my pass word,forgot where I wrote it down,your system keep telling me to enter a correct e-mail address,my e-mail address is valet,I enter through my friends page my page is still up, I just used it yesterday.also my identity has been stolen,a Tammy was using my phone number as her contact infomation I never posted my phone number please address this problem ASAP.     I am having a problem posting comments, adding friends and liking anything. Please can someone help me. This has been going on for about 4 days. I have tried to refresh the page but when I do it just boots me off facebook. I can read other people’s comments I just can’t comment to anything.

    I have tried for 2 days to log into facebook from my computer. My daugther can log into mine from her computer. What am I doing wrong? I keep getting a message that says to change password. I have changed it about 5 times and still can’t log in. I have changed the firewall protection, changed the cookie status any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

    I added a person to my friends list and that person posted a picture of themself on my profile page……..I’ve blocked that person, reported the picture and nothing has changed. I can’t get rid of the picture, when I click on “Report This Picture” it suggests to “Remove Tag” beside the persons name, I can’t there isn’t a “remove tag” link beside his name……how do I delele this picture off my profile page ? Can you please help me :) Thanks for your time and consideration :) !!

    I’ve been a Facebook member for a while now and I love it. About 2 wks ago I got a message telling me that my account has been phished. So I followed the onscreen directions. I got to the step where it will send me a confirmation code. I’ve never received any information via my phone or associated email address. I’ve made sure Facebook has not been blocked on my hotmail account and also in my AT&T email accounts. I’ve probably asked for a confirmation code at least 25 time, and nothing happens. I’ve tried it on IE8, Chrome, Opera, Firefox and Safari but none of them work. I have changed my password about 5 times. nothing works!

    Can you please help?

    What do I have to do to regain access to my account?

    I can’t get to the facebook login…all I get is a survey that will cost me money. It won’t let me get past where I have to pay for something I don’t want. This is really pissing me off! What is going on?
