Facebook is by far the greatest social networking website ever built. The entire world is tuning into Facebook, becomming addicted to it like a drug. It’s the reason why we get so upset, frusterated, and angry when we can’t log into our Facebook account.

Define Your Problem

So why is it that you can’t log into your account? We recently surveyed the readers of Facebook Login, you may have participated yourself (the survey is still running, participate by answering the question “What is your most common Facebook Login problem?” in the top right of this page), and discovered that most common problem is that people simply cannot log into their Facebook account, and thus are unable to access their profile, friends, inbox, pictures, etc.

Can’t Access Your Account?

If you can’t log into your account, the first thing you need to do is visit our Facebook Login Help page. This is the definitive resource for helping you get back into your account. If the information on this page dosn’t help, you may need to contact Facebook directly. This is easier said than done, it took me a long time just to find an email address for support. Send your Facebook Support emails to support@facebook.com. I’ve yet to find a phone number for support, I don’t think it exists.

Is Facebook Being Blocked?

If your internet provider (employer, school, government, ISP, etc) is blocking access to Facebook, how are you going to log in? The answer is through the use of a Facebook Proxy Server. Facebook Login Troubleshooting

If technical problems are the reason you can’t log into facebook, it’s time to start troubleshooting.

Check your web browser

If you have more than one web browser, try opening facebook in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Google Chrome.

Enable cookies and javascript

Make sure you have cookies and javascriptenabled in your browser.

Firewall settings

Check your firewall settings for and make sure port 80 is open.

    Good afternoon! When using Facebook to inform our users of a new podcast, we put in links that – until last week Tuesday, were working find. After we’d insert the program detail and link to the mp3 file, a small player would appear inside the entry (both personal and via business organization) that would link up the file with a blue “Play” button. Now, it still inserts that but on every entry, I now see a “!!! Undefined” error when pushing the button on the player. The link to the MP3 file still works find and plays externally, but the link from where it is currently is not working.

    We’ve tried serving the file from 2 independent sources and still get the same problem. Others are reporting the problem as well. Help?

    I can sign into facebook fine.But I am wondering why you changed the platform 3 years ago when it was working perfectly fine. You keep changing the page every few days and it is making FB worse. Also with you partnered up with zynga games it seems like you aren’t in sync..the games don’t load a lot of times and when i finally get one loaded (Cafe World), it only works for a couple of minutes then comes disconnected for no reason…however my chat remains open and I can use that….come on now, put it back to the old FB when it worked good or don’t you know how? I clear the cache and use the new adobe flash all the time so what is up? That doesn’t always work either.I think you use rookie tech support people who don’t know what they are doing!!!!!

    When I post request for game items they arent showing on the home page/ recent requests. They do show on my wall but not the news feed. How do I fix this?

    My e-mail has changed and when I try to change it on facebook I don’t recieve a conformation code to my new e-mail

    I created my account with my work e-mail (big mistake). I need to have it removed. I made my gmail account my primary under account settings and it has remove next to my work e-mail now, but it doesn’t work, I need this e-mail (jnikirk@allnetsys.com) removed from my facebook account!

    Why are the posts disappearing so quickly on there? Some posts I made this morning are already disappearing. Thanks for your help.

    I tried to create a page for a book club site. i used a gmail address set up for this site (bodicerippers.femmefatales@gmail.com) . however it tied to my own email, which i dont want. tried it again and the profile was messed up and now i cant try to create this for two weeks until they delete the email address.

    i need the page or account to be independent from my email. Can you delete the account without me waiting for two weeks, or can you help me fix it.

    I cannot log into facebook with the password I’ve been using forever. I tried to reset it, but it wouldn’t accept any new password I tried to correct. Now I am locked out! It says to try again in 24 hours, will it accept my password then?

    i have been gone for a couple weeks.. tried to log into facebook and it tells me i am using an old password and that i have changed it recently.. which i have not!!!! my wife is able to log into hers with no trouble.. so please fix this or tell me how to fix it… i am having withdrawals for i am not able to play my games!!!! thank you

    somebody tried to make me give my mobile phone number or my facebook account was going to be cancelled. Somebody needs to give me a call asap. I want to talk to someone because this is the second time somebody has tried to hack into my personnel informaiton. My cell were i can be reached is 615-310-1287. I need a phone that I can talk to someone at facebook about this incident.

    I have been uploading photos from my cell the last one was probally about 3-4 weeks ago, I no longer can upload from my phone wondering why I havw changed nothing with my service provider(cricket) everthings the same I have no other problems I can log on and even post my statuse recieve txt to and from my cell ( and yes I have internet on my phone and have had same phone nothing has changed… whats going on??

    For the past 2 days I can’t like or comment on posts on my wall. I also can’t click on newsfeed in my ticker bar. It was fixed for a while yesterday but today it has not been fixed. Games work fine. Please fix this problem as I can’t even wish people happy birthday.
