Define Your Problem

So why is it that you can’t log into your account? We recently surveyed the readers of Facebook Login, you may have participated yourself (the survey is still running, participate by answering the question “What is your most common Facebook Login problem?” in the top right of this page), and discovered that most common problem is that people simply cannot log into their Facebook account, and thus are unable to access their profile, friends, inbox, pictures, etc.

Can’t Access Your Account?

If you can’t log into your account, the first thing you need to do is visit our Facebook Login Help page. This is the definitive resource for helping you get back into your account. If the information on this page dosn’t help, you may need to contact Facebook directly. This is easier said than done, it took me a long time just to find an email address for support. Send your Facebook Support emails to support@facebook.com. I’ve yet to find a phone number for support, I don’t think it exists.

Is Facebook Being Blocked?

If your internet provider (employer, school, government, ISP, etc) is blocking access to Facebook, how are you going to log in? The answer is through the use of a Facebook Proxy Server. Facebook Login Troubleshooting

If technical problems are the reason you can’t log into facebook, it’s time to start troubleshooting.

Check your web browser

If you have more than one web browser, try opening facebook in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Google Chrome.

Enable cookies and javascript

Make sure you have cookies and javascriptenabled in your browser.

Firewall settings

Check your firewall settings for and make sure port 80 is open.

    I have not been able to access my facebook account for over a week now, I have contacted facebook several times through different venues. I have gotten no help from them at all.
    My husband and children can access their accounts on my computer but I cannot access mine on any computer at all. It keeps telling me that I have the wrong email address and or password which is incorrect. I am using the right email and password. I just do not understand why they will not even attempt to fix my problem.

    im hoping for the fast assistance of my problem regarding to my account at facebook, im not able to use facebook.com due to this site is already blocked thats why Im using m.facebook.com, for the first time i used this site at my computer its working but in a few days i got error from it and i cant able to open it again. please help me know about this, hoping for your assistance regarding on this matter. :)

    I was in facebook and tried to use the translate service to send a message to a friend in German. It turned all of facebook into German instead. I signed out hoping by signing in again that I might be able to go back to english but now it won’t let me sign in because when i put in my pasword in english it does not recognize it. I tried to change it but I do not write German and do not know how to do it in German. Please. How do I reverse this and just go back to everything being in Englsh?

    Everytime i log into facebook, try to look up friends, try to comment, or just make a comment on my wall, it logs me out!!!!! I am getting very frustrated and people think I am avoiding them! I cannot pull up any friends it says i have no list????? I would like help in fixing this so I can enjoy it instead of wanting to throw my laptop across the room, everyone I talk to has no complaints so I felt like it was only happening to me, until I read some of these comments. could someone help me? I know I am just learning all this computor stuff but I am not stupid!!! I would just like an answeraaaaa. Thank you

    I can’t go into facebook site, can’t even see the login page. I’ve tried in my home & office pc, and it appeared to be the same. But I’ve tried on my colleages pc, and I’m able to login. I believe that I’ve been block by some people… is there anyway to solve this problem?

    I cannot log onto my Facebook account. It kept telling me I was using either the wrong email address or password which was incorrect as I managed it last night with no problem. This morning I tried several times to change my password but it still won’t let me log in. My husband isn’t having any trouble logging on from the same laptop. I have emailed support@facebook.com but it came back as undelivered and I have emailed several other addresses but have still had no reply.

    I have been on FB for a while now and ths is the second time it comes up invalid password. Ever since I have been using the computer it has always been the same.     Hello, and I hope you can help.

    Since Oct. 20th, I have been having technical problems with Facebook… There is a glitch, and things freeze up when trying to access an internal or external link. This means I cannot read or respond to messages, post, or reply to friend requests. For some of these contacts, it’s the only way of communicating, since I have no e-mail address or other contact information for them.

    I have written them 5 times, to no avail. Can you help or advise?

    I never changed anything!

    and since today i am not anymore able to log into my account!!!!
    i tried everything! when i go to forgot pswd the browser tells me i have a invalid email adress! which, you can see is not invalid!!!!

    but I still receive notification emails at this adress!!!!

    Im really afraid to loose all my contacts and emails! there is a lot of stuff that i cannot get again!!!!!
