Facebook is by far the greatest social networking website ever built. The entire world is tuning into Facebook, becomming addicted to it like a drug. It’s the reason why we get so upset, frusterated, and angry when we can’t log into our Facebook account.

Define Your Problem

So why is it that you can’t log into your account? We recently surveyed the readers of Facebook Login, you may have participated yourself (the survey is still running, participate by answering the question “What is your most common Facebook Login problem?” in the top right of this page), and discovered that most common problem is that people simply cannot log into their Facebook account, and thus are unable to access their profile, friends, inbox, pictures, etc.

Can’t Access Your Account?

If you can’t log into your account, the first thing you need to do is visit our Facebook Login Help page. This is the definitive resource for helping you get back into your account. If the information on this page dosn’t help, you may need to contact Facebook directly. This is easier said than done, it took me a long time just to find an email address for support. Send your Facebook Support emails to support@facebook.com. I’ve yet to find a phone number for support, I don’t think it exists.

Is Facebook Being Blocked?

If your internet provider (employer, school, government, ISP, etc) is blocking access to Facebook, how are you going to log in? The answer is through the use of a Facebook Proxy Server. Facebook Login Troubleshooting

If technical problems are the reason you can’t log into facebook, it’s time to start troubleshooting.

Check your web browser

If you have more than one web browser, try opening facebook in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Google Chrome.

Enable cookies and javascript

Make sure you have cookies and javascriptenabled in your browser.

Firewall settings

Check your firewall settings for and make sure port 80 is open.

    I havnt been able to check my inbox on facebook for 2 days now. everytime i try to check it, it just shows up blank, can i still e-mail people back through my hotmail? i emailed a friend back through my hotmail and it said “to: noreply@facebookmail.com” what does that mean?

    I can NOT access facebook web site! I have no problem accessing any other web site on laptop AND desktop….but NO facebook access on either! Phoned facebook today and got message “go to help at bottom of facebook page”…well DUH how do you do that if you can’t even get ON the page??!!

    i simply can’t log into the facebook. i’m using vista platform, it show the running icon when i enter the webwage, www.facebook.com and it shows that for the entire hour. please advice. i have clear all the add-on and browing history. i can go to other web site other than facebook. what is going on?

    I have tried for a few days now to log onto my account. It won’t take my password. Then when I type in the encrypted codes to have my password resent… it says my encrypted codes are not correct. I have had other people double check that I am typing the correct encrypted code. I have tried on different computers. Please reply promptly.

    I do not know why you guys disabled my Facebook account but at this rate I would not change my e mail address to get another one again! What are you people doing? This is a disgrace! To me and my friends! And family! I wish you would resolve this matter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I have not been able to get into FARMVILLE for 5 days….keep getting out of sync with server message……same thing with with my grandson…but my husband can get on his farm…there is NO message code…has to be a facebook problem….FIX IT!!!! I can get in every other game I play…yoville, farmtown, lil farm life (been slow lately……HELP!!!!!!!
