Facebook FarmVille Wish Lists and Game Cards

March 2, 2010

What’s your favorite game on Facebook? Did I hear FarmVille? What’s new with our favorite game? So friends do not catch you unaware, here are the much awaited updates for our favorite game.

FarmVille Wish Lists

In FarmVille’s podcast last week, they announced how your friends and neighbors will no longer have to guess what kind of gift you want – with wish lists! How it will work: you select an item from the Free Gifts page. This will then be posted on the feed so that your neighbors know what you like, very similar to asking for stable materials. The difference, however, is when your neighbors click it; they will automatically send you the gift you want. This cool feature will start this week, so watch out for it!

FarmVille Game Cards

For those without PayPal accounts or credit cards, playing FarmVille can be limiting at times. So to allow us to play the game without limitations, FarmVille has released its Game Cards. These can be bought in Best Buy and Gamestop stores. These will also be available soon in 7-11 and Target. These cards may be bought in $10 denominations and soon in $25 denominations, too.

So what do you do once you have these cards? Just go to Farmville on Facebook (Click HERE) then click “Add Farm Coins and Cash”. Towards the bottom of the screen, you will see “Have a FarmVille Game Card? Click here to redeem.” Click that and a new popup will come up. Choose to redeem for FarmCash or FarmVille coins. Then enter the code at the back of your Game Card. Your $10 card can redeem 55 Farm Cash or 15,800 FarmVille Coins, while $25 FarmVille Game Cards can be soon be redeemed for 145 Farm Cash or 42,500 FarmVille Coins.

Why did they take away the list below the farmville game of players on the game with gifts to claim ? It is a pain in the hiney having to leave the game and go back to facebook to see who is on. I’m getting disgusted with this new procedure. is no longer as thrilling trying to beat someone to the chase.
