Tired of playing games that require you to wait for hours until your crops can be harvested and sold? Then, Faunasphere can be the right game for you!

Faunasphere 265x300 Faunasphere Finally on Facebook

Seattle-based company, Big Fish, has launched Faunasphere as its newest massively multiplayer online (MMO) game on Facebook. With the game currently having almost 8,000 monthly active users, Big Fish is hoping get the same reception that Zynga and Playfish receive from the Facebook society.

The main goal in playing Faunasphere’s is to clean up the pollution, breed creatures, and eventually help those creatures make a new world to live in. The game presents a virtual world that is overwhelmed with pollution yet inhabited by cute and mysterious creatures called Fauna. These are similar to our horses, dogs, and tortoises. The player acts as the “caretaker” and at the beginning of the game he or she chooses one Fauna to adopt and take care of.

In creating a Faunasphere for his or her Fauna, the player can earn, trade, or buy items to be used so that the Faunasphere becomes one that friends can be envious of. Another exciting feature is the exploration. Players can discover lands and find treasures or hidden ingredients for out-of-the-ordinary Fauna food. He or she can also alter his or her Fauna’s DNA by either breeding or purchasing gene foods. Sounds intriguing, eh?

Faunasphere is indeed an easy, fun, and entertaining game. This is just the first among the series of games that Big Fish is about to release this year. Play now (click HERE) and get hooked!
