Tired of the usual role-playing games in Facebook where you play as a farmer that plows farmlands, plants, and harvests crops or as a chef that decorates his own restaurant and cooks recipes for customers? Digital Chocolate, a publisher of over 80 social games in various media such as those in Facebook, smartphones, and Xbox, introduces its latest Facebook game, NanoTowns.
NanoTowns is similar to other city-building games like Domisuto’s TinyTown and Broken Bulb’s MyTown. While some of the city-building games earn money by leaving it standing for some time, in NanoTowns the player will have to take on missions to take care of the people living in apartments or working in stores. For example, if the crew of the hamburger store wants to drink coffee, the drink must be made in the coffee shop and delivered to the hamburger store.
To help, the game lets the player hire friends in order to decrease the production time, thus producing more goods. In addition, the production of goods as well as the construction time of buildings can be made instantaneous by paying more Town-Coins. These goods can also be bought in the market so that the player will not need to construct buildings that produce those goods.
Similar to other Facebook games, certain NanoTowns items can only be bought using DC-cash. At the beginning, the player only has 1 DC-cash. However, more can be bought using credit cards, PayPal, or Boku.
NanoTowns also lets players send gifts and various items to their friends which are useful in jazzing up a city’s design. So, play NanoTowns (click HERE) and see whose city looks the best!
