Back in the early days of Facebook, the leading way of socializing was comparing Farmville photos. It’s almost as if people logged in to Facebook for the sole purpose of managing and maintaining their respective farms. With farms expanding, animals multiplying, and trees popping up left, right and center, Farmville was undeniably a major contributor to the success of Facebook.
Farmville was simply idyllic and as such, was a perfect way to while away a few minutes of your time. The rendering of the characters in Farmville 2 is simply amazing. Colors are blooming and there is just so much charm oozing out of every pore of Farmville 2. Characters wave hi to you, plants swing merrily in the breeze and animals meander contentedly throughout your farm.
2. REALISTIC MONEY SYSTEM
While plants seem to bloom money on the original game, the creators of Farmville 2 has now added a more realistic touch to the game. You now harvest produce and then, if you do decide to sell them, you do so by putting them on sale in your roadside stand. Now, tomatoes produce tomatoes and money comes from selling those aforementioned tomatoes. Say goodbye to planting wheat and harvesting coins.
3. CRAFTING
Crafting is undeniably one of the most game-changing additions to the Farmville 2 formula. In the new game, you don’t necessarily have to sell all your produce for money. Much like real life, you can make something else out of your raw materials. From animal feed to delicious recipes, crafting is a gem wonderfully integrated in the Farmville 2 mechanics.
4. SOCIAL VISITS
Social interactions will always be the driving force behind social games. Farmville 2 takes social gaming to new heights by enabling your friends to directly help out in your farm. Friends will come and go to your fledgling farm, help you out a bit, and give both you and your friend a nice little XP nudge for the effort. Farmville 2 now really feels like a collaborative effort for the community by the community.
