I would like to add few hints/tips along with this guide. Hope they prove useful to you on your fishing trips:
- Once you get A2 license, you will be allowed to use nets. So, as soon as you load the game, cast your net. You will be able to do other things while it is filling up. You cannot move or even check things out when you are fishing with rod. You can even leave the map and explore other maps.
- To find out where your friends are fishing, open the world map, and it will show you where they are and also how many friends are there is a particular map. Just go to that map and collect your daily gifts. You will also be able to see where your nets are currently cast.
- I mostly play over a period of 1-2 hours so, I never buy ice for 1 or 2 hours. Keep my caught fish fresh as long as I am playing and sell off all the fish when I am logging off from the game. I saved me a lot of coins.
- Sometimes you will see fish fin appear on a tile or a fish jumping out of a tile, followed by a whirlpool at the spot. If you cast your rod at that spot before the whirlpool disappears, mini-games will be activated.
