We have received so much input here at Facebook Login about this issue. This post is meant to condense these please for help from our readership into a message aimed directly at Facebook.
“Facebook, if your listening, you are experiencing at mounting customer service crisis.Thousands of your most loyal users have been unable to access their accounts for periods of time ranging from a few days to more than a month. Please increase the size of your customer service department to adequately accomodate your massive growth. You’ve scaled your technology and userbase, now scale the support side.“
We recently took two polls here at Facebook Login. Within just a few days hundreds of our readers resonded, indicating that many have been locked out of their account for more than a month. This is absolutly unacceptable.
Additionally, comments have been left by our readers on Facebook Login Help, Facebook Technical Support, and Facebook Login. For example, today someone named Linda made a post that charterizes the sentitment of these disenfranchised Facebook users .
Ok, it’s been a week now that I’ve been getting that Site Maintenance error. If I was at work they would have laid me off for lack of productivity. I’m considering sending a press release describing the dark vortex that is Facebook tech support. Enough is enough.”
Facebook acknowleged the access problem as far back as October 6th, and it looks like the problem is yet to be fixed. The team here at Facebook Login is going to stay on top of this story as it develops. If you are still unable to log into your account, check back here regularly for new information. This message pops out whenever I try to login to my facebook account. Please help somebody.
More than a week. What has happened, thoroughly hacked and pilfered forums, are repaired by volunteers with jobs and lives in days but the mighty facebook is such an effective money making button pusher that a chunk of users disappearing doesn’t bother them.

What happens to facebook when you realy need it it goes down it makes me personaly so frustrated.
MM I have been patiently waiting for my account to be accessible.
Though if Facebook where truly important to me I would have created a new account a week or more ago, as I am sure many hundreds have already done so!!!
What I wonder the most is why does Facebook give out so little information.

I am another Facebook user, or used to be user, who has been locked out since Oct 3rd. I feel really bad I can’t let my FB friends and contacts know why I am not there. I really hope they don’t think I am rude. If this is not to be fixed, let us know, we would rather know than be led on.

when i go to go to facebook it brings up a dialog box like it is downloading a file the tells me unavailable and if i goole it and get it to come up it is encrypted with a bunch of symbols and numbers but i can still check everything on my phone (well status updates atleast wha is going on here they really need to get it fixed fast really fustrating to deal with and are we gong to lose everything we have done on here or what
I have not been able to log on for about 3 weeks now. I dont get the maintenance message, I get lots of symbols all over the page. Very frustrating.

Been two days on and off today I cant get on at all. the reset codes dont work at all. What is the deal. I am still unable to log in.

is stressing i need to talk to my daughter she is abroad and this is the only way so pls help, also can i asked is this so people like myself that have children is it to make money out of us , as i call a number to help me with the problem but to have it fix i had to pay, i think is disgusting why should we people have to pay ….. i would appreciate if u could let us know if this is going to be fixed as people with familly need to know thankyou
Took nine days before access to my account was restored.
I haven’t been able to use Facebook for about 6 weeks. All I get are symbols. Sometimes at 1am or 2am, I can log on for about 10 minutes…then lockup. What people are angry about is the total denial by Facebook that anything is wrong AND that there is no way to contact customer service. In addition, any updates on the problem are posted on Facebook!
Why does every post on this site have poor spelling? I was trying my best to read the posts from users, but I got so frustrated that I had to quit. I understand a few people not being able to spell, but nearly every one??? This is more frustrating than my facebook page not opening!
I am one of these victims too. It was a week before I could login to facebook again. Since then it has only shown my friends once. Other than that all my friends are gone and it says I have none. Is anyone else having that problem?
I keep checking back to see if this will be resolved and nothing. No response to requests for help except an autoreply.
Devestating for me because I use this to communicate with family members and soldiers in Iraq. Can’t imagine how to recreate it all and refuse to.
Until now I promoted this as a very useful and positive tool for family readiness but after this I will advise that they not depend on this service for anything. Better to reinvent a more reliable tool.

Have to attempt 5-6 times to finally get in. When I do, its old information. My newsfeed is out of date and I have no friends! Can’t open inbox. Occasionally the correct newsfeed will emerge, but cannot comment on anything. I have the same friend request from some stranger every day which will not go away and friend suggestions who have been my friends forever.
Its not my server. The rest of the people in my house are fine on this Mac.
Please let us know if they are still aware of this and will fix!
This is getting ridiculous. My facebook has been working on and off now for about 5 days. It will let me see my friends and how many people are on chat on rare occasions and then just die out. I’m tired of these posts of complaints over and over and over again, please can someone just give me an explanation and solution please?
Same thing for me, it’s only been 2-3 days now and I can’t imagine going another month!
Please hurry up facebook and fix this problem, it’s frustrating that I haven’t been able to contact my overseas friends and family on facebook for the past week!!!
I too am having the problems stated above where I can only log in from time to time before it dies, and I can’t see anything, and my friends profiles are blocked.
But what I want to know, is what is the problem causing this in the first place?
Sort it out already facebook people!!!
I am having this same exact problem. For the past 2 or 3 days, i have been getting the site maintenance message when I try to log in. It lets me log in off and on, but now it shows that I have 0 friends and I can only see status posts from groups I am a fan of. Please fix this problem and restore my facebook back to its original condition along with all of my friends! it is such an inconvenience and I am praying that I won’t have to create a new account since I previously had about 400 friends. Thanks and I hope this problem is solved soon!
