We have received so much input here at Facebook Login about this issue. This post is meant to condense these please for help from our readership into a message aimed directly at Facebook.
“Facebook, if your listening, you are experiencing at mounting customer service crisis.Thousands of your most loyal users have been unable to access their accounts for periods of time ranging from a few days to more than a month. Please increase the size of your customer service department to adequately accomodate your massive growth. You’ve scaled your technology and userbase, now scale the support side.“
We recently took two polls here at Facebook Login. Within just a few days hundreds of our readers resonded, indicating that many have been locked out of their account for more than a month. This is absolutly unacceptable.
Additionally, comments have been left by our readers on Facebook Login Help, Facebook Technical Support, and Facebook Login. For example, today someone named Linda made a post that charterizes the sentitment of these disenfranchised Facebook users .
Ok, it’s been a week now that I’ve been getting that Site Maintenance error. If I was at work they would have laid me off for lack of productivity. I’m considering sending a press release describing the dark vortex that is Facebook tech support. Enough is enough.”
Facebook acknowleged the access problem as far back as October 6th, and it looks like the problem is yet to be fixed. The team here at Facebook Login is going to stay on top of this story as it develops. If you are still unable to log into your account, check back here regularly for new information. Maybe you guys should outsource site maintenance to someone who knows what they’re doing. This has been an ongoing problem for what – 4 months…???
In the real world your IT maintenance dept would be summarily fired, and they would have deserved it…
Can’t get into my account too~ The message states “it should be available in a few hours” and I have been unable to log in since yesterday. What is the definition of “a few hours” in this case..?

i am so tired of this, i kan not log in to my facebook, this is rediculas.. eveyrone can log in but me, enough is rlly enough with this make this problem better because this is rlly unexceptable
Just started to get this error message this morning 2/18. I really hope it doesn’t stay like this for a month like some of the other users, but one day hasn’t been all that bad. I got a ton of housework done that I normally wouldn’t have if FB was working.
Tomorrow will be different though. Is there something I can do in the mean time to help the process along?
i havent been able to access my fb account in almost 30 day account temporaily unavalible this is obserb i just got the account in Dec. an really was starting 2 enjoy it an now this something needs to happen and fast

Finally I know that I am not the only person having problems. I’m sorry to say but customer service at FB sucks. Nearlly a month and nothing .I even tried to start another page. Nothing>>>>> HELP.

This is the second time I’ve had this message. The last time, this happened in the morning and couldn’t log on till that evening.
I’ve done the whole thing of trying to figure out what I could possibly do myself to remedy this problem and possible help Facebook.
Downloaded a new browser Facebook suggested that may be more compatible, then make sure I have all the updates needed.
Really tired of this happening. Thankful that these people have built a free sight to communicate with my family and friend.
Unfortunately at this point. I’m not communicating through Facebook with my family or friend.

Well I and my husband have just fallen victim to this message too. Its not cool, I was in the middle of a conversation and it just kicked me off. My family is all over the place and I am in the last stages of my pregnancy and this is how I keep everyone up to date about whats going on. NOT HAPPY AT ALL about this. Plus if it is as long as people say, my farm is going to go all to hell. NOT COOL FACEBOOK. PLEASE FIX SOON!!!!!!
Well I guess I am now part of the can not log into facebook account due to maintenance. See how many days, weeks, months it will take F*%ed Book to sort out.

I thought this was all fixed except for missing all my neighbors in the games. Now I’m getting the message AGAIN. Once again I will lose things in the games. I wonder if I’ll have any friends left after this time….
Oh, there was a difference this time. Last night it kept telling me I was out of sync with the server and I had to keep refreshing a game I was playing. This morning it told me first that my account would be down for only a few minutes. Then it spit me out and now I get the few hours message. My roomie can log into her account. WTH
Oh Well!Its gud 2 kno im sort of new 2 dis i was wondering wat was i doing wrong dat i couldnt log in im not able 2 recieve um a comfirmation or im not comfirmed yet how can dis b now its askin 4 a code dat i had 2 enter and now i cant no longer use.Not giving up waiting patiently and praying.I missing to chat with my long distant family especially playing farmville with them cauz dey all help me and its so much fun.I hope da problem gets solve soon dis wats help me keep my widow mind a little saner.LOL….TTYL….
Totally unaccecptable but then again.. it is FREE so what should we expect right? I will never use Facebook again, they have lost me as.. a customer?

Oh did I forget to mention that they also apologize for any inconvenience? Yeah right!!! I’ve had my Facebook account for several months now and there is always issues on this web site; and they hardly ever reply back to your trouble reporting e-mails. I can only begin to wonder if this Facebook is worth all of the trouble and stress it gives us. I mean we all have enough stress in our lives as it is let alone try to access Facebook for relaxation only to be given more stress because they can’t get their site up and running properly! Maybe I’ll start of a My space page!? After all you hardly ever hear of this many problems like the infamous Facebook has!!! Again there is always Bebo another social web-site w/o as many problems as Facebook. Think I’ll hook up with one or both of these other web-sites- in other words if you’re not happy take your business else where-and from what I’ve read there are an awful lot of us out there who are NOT Happy w/ Facebook!
have been locked out of my account all day…tried everything in fb’s help page but there are no answers for “unavailable account”. it’s very annoying. and noone to get a hold of on the site. it sucks!

I built a list of friends who are on f-book and their accounts are available and working. I am job networking and started an account to allow others to reach me there. They are asking me what the problem is. Would you mind taking off the part about “few hours” and provide a more realistic time. It is going on 2 days. I started something that sounded like a good idea and now I may regret it. Sorry, rlg
I can access Facebook from my home computer and used to be able to from my government work computer. Now, I get the maintenance notification screen. My home computer is more up to date than the government one. Perhaps that’s a reason.
