How To Import Blog In Facebook

Have you ever came across some friends who seems to be online 24×7 on Facebook. Friends about whose writings frequently fill up your profile wall and you think like, “Man, how can he/she write so much all the time or what’s the use of spending so much time on Facebook.” well, such people generally have their blogs imported in Facebook. Whenever they write something new or write a new post in their blog, it gets imported in Facebook as notes, and stories gets published on  your wall. Importing blog can be an easy way to get readers or expose your blog.

Importing a blog isn’t as hard as it sounds. We will quickly go through the steps involve to import a blog in Facebook.

Facebook allows you to easily import your blog. To do this follow the given steps.

1. First of all go to your Notes Application. On the right hand side of your Notes page click on the “Import a blog” option. See image below.

fb importblog a How To Import Blog In Facebook2. Enter the URL (web address) of your blog into the text box, and check the box underneath to agree to the Terms of Use. You might want to go through the Terms first. The URL doesn’t necessarily have to be your RSS feed.

3. To complete the process, click on “Start Importing.” Now, all your previous posts in your blog will get imported and appear as notes. Whenever you post a new post in your blog, it will be displayed in your Notes page as a new note. Generally, it takes sometime to update your Notes pages in Facebook.

Stop Importing

Sometimes importing blog may not work exactly in the way you might have want it to. You might also want to import another blog instead. To stop importing a blog,
1. Go to your Notes page, and click on the “Edit import settings” which will replace the “Import a blog” link in the image given above.
2. Select the “Stop Importing” button.
3. Enter a new URL if you intend to import another blog.
