The ‘Like’ feature needs no introduction or description. Most people won’t even need to think, how i need to do this?, and be able to use the feature without blinking.
Anyway, we will discuss a little about the ‘Like’ feature of Facebook. I have discuss here and there in some parts of previous How To’s about the ‘Like’ feature. Making a separate tutorial will make it easier for people who wants to know more about it.
First of all, what is the Like Feature?
It is a feature of Facebook, which helps you to show that you have enjoyed something on Facebook and you liked it. Moreover, it is also a way to let someone know that you like it, without leaving a comment. Just like a comment though, the fact that you liked it is noted beneath the item.
So what happens when you use the Like feature? Let’s take for example, if you use the Like feature on a friend’s video:
It’ll be noted beneath the video that you liked it.
A story will be posted to your Wall that you liked your friend’s video.
Your friend will get a notification that you liked his or her video.
So, that pretty much does the thing that you want to express. A little feature, but a very good one.
To ‘Like’ something, just click on the ‘like’ link located beneath your friends’ video, photo, comments, links or anything. Sometimes, you may want to unlike something which you have liked before. You may have noticed that when you ‘like’ something, the ‘like’ link will change into ‘unlike’. So just click on it to unlike. Notifications are not generated when you ‘unlike’ something that you have ‘like’ before.
