Blank Facebook Login Page

Apparently many Facebook users are reporting that the Facebook Login Page comes up blank when they go to www.facebook.com . Facebook has acknowledged the problem and is currently working on a fix for those who are experiencing problems. Here is Facebook’s official response on the issue:

We are aware of the blank page that our users are experiencing using Facebook and we are working on a fix please make your readers aware that there will be a fix soon.

Five days ago I started having problems logging onto facebook. On the rare occasion I do get in, I have a blank wall and ZERO friends listed (I had 180). They’re all gone. Most often (24 out of 25 logon tries), I either get a site maintenance error OR a ‘typed incorrect password’ error. Resetting passwords, re-starting computer, deleting cookies/emptying cache, nothing has worked. I’ve submitted an inquiry to facebook and got an automated response that asked to me respond directly to the email with ‘screen shots’. I did that but got an email address undeliverable/unknown error. I’m truly at my wits end.

Suddenly, yesterday, I couldn’t get onto any applications, such as Farmville, or to send an OM. Today, I can’t get onto facebook at all. I only get a blank. The status bar will show that the page is “forever” trying to load . . . but it never does.

I hope this can be fixed soon. I notice that the post saying that FB is working on a fix was dated 16 days ago?

I hope this can be resolved ASAP.

Same problem here!

This morning all was working fine then suddenly after a few hours I tried to log into FB vie www.facebook.com. I was directed to a white blank page. Tried clearing cookies and other means but all the same. I wonder how long FB is going to take to solve this problem.

Check with some of my overseas friends, it does happened to some of them In October’09. The problem seems to go round the globe.

I hope the developer is looking into this ASAP.

Yeah most of the time in the past 3 or 4 days when I go to facebook mobile or the full site i get a blank page. This was never an issue before. Glad to know its not just me. I hope it gets fixed soon.

I am getting blank pages all over the place, too. ANNOYING. I am using Facebook Lite at the moment – well…WAS, before that stopped working too. For those who don’t know, Facebook Lite is alternate version of the same site, without the apps or the groups. You can simply send and receive comments and email. That’s it. If you are still waiting for your own account to be fixed, try the derivative site for now.

I can’t even reach the facebook login page! I am in withdrawal as it is the only way I can keep in touch with my scattered friends. Why was there no warning and why is there no How to Log In under the new privacy setting when you come in through Google????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I also have the same problem the screen will go white and then on farmvile, it says i have request but when i click on it it says it has a problem and then they will go away and it wont show up on my farm that i have any thing they need to fix facebook soon

Day 3 & when I login only a white screen is displayed. I go into the help center, only to still see that facebook is working to resolve this issue. This absolutely sucks! Just in time to not be able to load the pictures from bring my daughter home from the hospital….(sarcasium to follow)thanks a lot Facebook for this wonderful social network so we can keep everyone in what matters most in our lives!!!!

My internet is working and when I try to log into fb, it says internet problems…

Facebook will not load on to any of the 3 up to date browsers I have on my laptop. It needs to be sorted out asap.
