Have you seen this message? If so you are one of thousands of Facebook users world wide who have been unable to log into Facebook, some for more than a month.
We have received so much input here at Facebook Login about this issue. This post is meant to condense these please for help from our readership into a message aimed directly at Facebook.
“Facebook, if your listening, you are experiencing at mounting customer service crisis.Thousands of your most loyal users have been unable to access their accounts for periods of time ranging from a few days to more than a month. Please increase the size of your customer service department to adequately accomodate your massive growth. You’ve scaled your technology and userbase, now scale the support side.“
We recently took two polls here at Facebook Login. Within just a few days hundreds of our readers resonded, indicating that many have been locked out of their account for more than a month. This is absolutly unacceptable.
Additionally, comments have been left by our readers on Facebook Login Help, Facebook Technical Support, and Facebook Login. For example, today someone named Linda made a post that charterizes the sentitment of these disenfranchised Facebook users .
Ok, it’s been a week now that I’ve been getting that Site Maintenance error. If I was at work they would have laid me off for lack of productivity. I’m considering sending a press release describing the dark vortex that is Facebook tech support. Enough is enough.”
Facebook acknowleged the access problem as far back as October 6th, and it looks like the problem is yet to be fixed. The team here at Facebook Login is going to stay on top of this story as it develops. If you are still unable to log into your account, check back here regularly for new information. We are doing everything we can to help you log in.
Ditto to Trisha’s note above. Was in this morning, and have been locked out since this afternoon. I’ve done all the same things that she’s done and still can’t get in. It’s now in the early morning hours of the following day and I still can’t login. What is up???!!!!

Same problem for me…been locked out for 2 days now. I was able to get on using my itouch briefly but couldn’t post anything. Now that is not working either
I’ve got the same problem, this issue started for me a week ago but after 5 mins i could log normal, but yestarday 29 OCT, i logged for 2mins then off, then 10 mins later my account unavailable due to site maintenance :s
same problem for me – just happened about 20 minutes ago- can’t use my blackberry either!!
I was locked out from October 14-29, then got back on October 29 and immediately changed my password. My account was suspended again today.
I even called Facebook and the automated system hung up on me.

same problem, since yesterday I can’t login my facebook page.
Same problem for 12 hours now… absolute rubbish. What is the facebook customer service email address?
This problem started yesterday!
I was able to log in for a couple minutes and automatically logged me off. It showed I had 0 friends and showed no recent posts.
I guess it helped me focus on school more..lol
but it’s really annoying, i don’t want this to keep happening for days like other people.

Its really really annoying. For a social network that is so massive, it sure has a terrible and perhaps the worst technical support and customer service.
ive got the same problem, this issue started for me a week ago but after an half hour i could log normal , now i started access my account 2pm i cant log in its so terrible pls do anything..my FB account was so important to me and i cant live without it…

I have the message site maintenance unavailalbe for a few hours that was 10 hrs ago!!!! hello! this is a multi millionaire cash cow, all i want to do is talk to relatives that have important news to share. I am sure when the time comes to sell the site, for xxxxx millions, these issues/COMPLAINTS will not be at the top of the pile to the prosepective buyer. You MIGHT want to use proper grammar. “You’re” is different from “Your.” If you want to make a valid argument on anything, make sure you use your words.
Have been trying to log into Facebook for this is day 3 now and am getting the Account Unavailable…..have been able to log in randomly, but it takes persistance…..

Don’t understand what to do? It is so frustating. For any reputed networking site like Facebook it is very irresponsible issue. Facebook must solve this on warfooting scale.
i got this error this morning, around 12 o’clock and now its 8.30 pm. wtffffff i want my facebook back. over a month? GEEZ I WONT SURVIVE THAT!!!

I have had problems with my account for months , some days its fine logs in all day with no problems, other days ill log in in the morning log out do my daily routine then come back to signing on i have this problem which sometimes last for 5 minutes to 4-5 hours then starts working again , but over the past week i have accessed my account 3 or 4 times but have tried over 200 at any chance to see if it was working again and to my dismay i still receieve the same error message saying its down for maintenance, i use facebook for networking as i dj i like to use it to talk to dj’s worldwide but now i cant even go and check if i have a message let alone talk to people, i havnt recieved any emails from facebook for a day or too with any updates or any type of suggestions requests or anything, i have email facebook doing what they asked but im not relying on any kind of response as what ive read doesnty look promising at all!

I was on Facebook for about 20 mintes around 3 pm. Went to log on at 8 pm and it’s says my account is unavailable and it will be back up in a few hours. How has this happened ? Does anybody know how this could be possible. Are there hackers involved ?

it was weird at first.
it asked for my email at the top of the page.
i tried that, it didn’t load anything.
then it started asking for my birthday. i’m only 16,
so it kept telling me I had to be 18 or something. Even
a fake year didn’t work.
Then I just got kicked out and got that notice.
(and apparently, you only need to be 13).

i got kicked off my facebook when it asked my age and dob and when i put it in they said i needed to be 18 or older so i put in the year a diffrent year and i got kicked off now im getting the post its having site maitenance i jus wanna know when ill be let back on???

I have tried writing to them, upgrading my computer deleting cookies etc. And nothing is helping!! I am so tired of it. The last time it took 2 days befor I was abel to enter..and then I could only enter for 2 hours then it went down again.. I have also tried the birthday thing..and I am 30 but it still keept saying I was under 18…

I can’t believe it I was in the middle of writing when the system froze. I logg of and when I tried again it came up with the “Account Unavailable” message, which was about 3 1/2 hours ago, and I don’t know how when they ask me to input my D.O.B that I’m under 18, somebody obviously can’t count!!!! What is going on?? Why was there no warning before???
