Some unknown person created a Facebook account in the name of Babush Monserrate and had been posing as the Education Minister of Goa, India.
The Facebook account sports the picture of the minister that is found in the government’s official directory. Moreover, the impostor set the personal info in the minister’s fake account as; interested in ‘women’ and looking for ‘dating’.
Interestingly, the impostor also linked Spanish singer Julio Iglesias’ YouTube video ‘To all the girls I’ve loved before’.
‘I am pretty much a computer illiterate. I cannot operate these sites. Somebody must have made an account using my name and has been chatting as well. I was informed about this by Reginaldo, who was abused by the impostor while chatting,’ Monserrate told IANS, adding, that all the while Reginaldo thought he was speaking to the education minister.
The imposter is also said to have use Monserrate’s fake account to throw abuses on several persons known to the minister.
