Betty White, the former Golden Girl, will appear on Saturday Night Live – an idea she referred to as ‘ridiculous’ just a few weeks back - in the near future as confirmed by the People magazine.
The “Betty White to Host SNL (please?)!” Facebook Page has now filled with congratulatory messages from fans who supported the campaign. Though the Facebook page has stagnated in growth, with around 500,000 fans for quite some time, the group got what they requested for.
Fans have been rooting for White, 88, to do SNL ever since her appearance in Snickers ad during the Super Bowl.
It is really impressive that a Facebook page about a random celebrity could generate so much buzz and response from the network.
It is still unclear when she will appear or what it will entail as she didn’t offer any details on it.
