Revelers Trashed Facebook Party House

February 22, 2010

A devastated couple found their house thrashed by gate-crashing yobs after their teenage daughter advertised a secret party on Facebook.

Rachel Ross, 15, advertised a small party for friends on Facebook while her parents attended an overnight wedding.

But trouble started when more than 50 uninvited guests turned up and started caused chaos in the house.

Neighbors contacted police after chaos erupted, and one reveler was heard shouting: “Let’s trash the house!”

The yobs thrashed the house, leaving behind a mess of urine, vomits and red paint all over the house. Light fittings were smashed and furnishings tossed around. Party goers even urinated on a two-year-old’s bed.

They also reportedly decamped with two laptops, phones, an Xbox and Wii, jewelery and collection of antique weapons including a World War II bayonet and a Napoleonic Broadsword.

Michael Ross,34, father-of-four is said to have arranged for Rachel and the other children, aged 13,12 and two to stay with friends, but Rachel sneaked back to the family home to make preparations fro the party.

Mr Ross described the perpetrators as ‘animals’.

“They can’t have any respect for anyone,” he said. “We got the shock of our life when we saw the damage.”

“My wife went hysterical.”

The damage was estimated at around £15,000.

This is not the first time a party advertised on Facebook have been crashed and properties damaged.
