    Me too. The symbols appeared occasionally at login, but now It’s every time. I though it was something with my computer. Relieved to know it’s a Facebook problem.

    Well over a week with this problem.

    It does it regardless if I am on Firefox or Yahoo. It also does this when I go to a direct link to Facebook from an email notification of some sort.

    The only way I have been able to occasionally get on is to Google Facebook login and then hit a link and type in my info…. this only rarely works, and only for a very short time before I begin to have problems

    I’ve been having the same problems with the strange symbols appearing upon login. Or after I’ve been able to be in fb for awhile and I click on a different tab, it goes to the strange symbols and then it is impossible to do anything because every move I make leads me to more symbols. The strangest thing about this is that it only happens on my home computer. Could this be a virus of some sort?

    I am so Irritated with Facebook these crypted pages and having to download php files that don’t work are annoying! if it wsn’t for the fact that it is the only way I talk to people I used to go to school with I would can the account. Lets hope they fix the issue soon. I am an avid player on many of the apps and am loosing all the hard work I put in. Sorry to see that others are having the same problems but at least I know I am not the only one.

    I have been having the same problem for weeks. I can only log in to my facebook about 10% of the time. Its so annoying. I thought it was my computer, but its the onyl website that does it. I hope they fix it soon.

    This is so frustrating how the symbols just change direction when you even refresh the page. It works for a short min or two but not much longer.

    We thought at first that it was from a weird virus we may have gotten so my roommate had her bro clean it, now it seems worse!!

    I have had all of the above and it has been at least two months since I have been able to log on to facebook without any problems. Some days I am able to log on (after many trys) days like today, I haven’t been able to log on at all.

    So is there a plan to correct the problem of getting a screen that is full of symbols & “tiles”? Facebook is being used quite exrensively as a communication vehicle and this should be a priority to correct.

    I have to say that it has been extremely frustrating trying to log in to facebook…strange symbols,,,it has been over a week since being able to get onto facebook..Hopefully this issue wil be resolved soon…Thanks for your time

    I’m having the same problems with the file download, or the weird characters that appear. What to do? Those characters make me nervous. I even do Regcure and that doesn’t help. I am able to sign on to Facebook from my husband’s computer without fail. Mine is very iffy, 90% or more of the time, I just can’t get on Facebook.

    man the symbols first started and it would only happen when i was on firefox and it would only happen at school, then it started happening when i was at home, so i switched to google chrome and it fixed the problem for a day or so then again it started when i was on the schools network (my computer) and then again at home and now i cannot get onto it anywhere with my computer, the facebook proxy didnt work… facebook lite sucks ASS its so lame ahhhhh

    i am having the same problem using both Firefox and IE 8 (tried IE 7 and IE 6 also). When using IE, it tries to download a file, when using Firefox, it tries to open an image in my image software. No problems with Firefox lite, though. it’s not only the login page, but ALL pages – refreshing worked for a couple of weeks, now it’s hit or miss

    It’s ridiculous!! I thought it was just me! Every now and then I can Google it and log in, but now I cannot even do that! It’s been very frustrating! I hope it is corrected soon!
