General Motors Co. gives you one more ways of getting addicted to Facebook.

In the race to bring more voice to tech vehicles, GM is reportedly testing a software that includes voice-to-text ability, which will allow drivers to update their Facebook status by talking to their car.

From this month, OnStar is also expected to provide subscribers with a feature that will  have their text messages and Facebook updates read to them while they are driving. This system will be studied on a test audience while the company decides whether to offer it or not.

Apart from this, OnStar is also expected to get new entertainment and information  content that interacts with the user’s smartphone.

If being able to update Facebook status and getting text messages, apart from the other improvements can help improve public safety, it is a welcome feature. If not, it’s a good thing OnStar already includes accident assistance icon smile Update Your Facebook Status By Talking To Your Car
