Arkadium, casual social game developer, hit a million jackpot with their first Facebook game while many other gaming industries are having a hard time to adapt to the popularity of social games.
The game, Mahjong Dimensions, which was launched on January 15 have generated more than 1 million monthly active users in just two months.
According to Kenny Rosenblatt, CEO of Arkadium, “We are extremely excited to have exceeded the one million user mark in such a short time frame. Now that we have proven we can successfully build an audience on Facebook, our primary focus will be to further monetize it.”
“Many of the 300 games in our library have the DNA to become great social games. We plan to follow the same recipe we did with Mahjongg Dimensions and replicate this success over and over again,” he adds.
With the success of their first game, Arkadium has a lot of chance to creat more hits through cross-platform promotion like Zynga, the leading Facebook game developer.
Mahjongg Dimensions was launched as a 3-D web game in 2009 and is available on many sites that host Arkadium’s games. The company plans to launch five more Facebook games in the second quarter.
So, watch out for their games.
