We have discussed how to create note, add pictures in notes and tag friends in the first part of the tutorial. In this part, we will see the remaining features/options associated with Facebook Notes Application.
Format a Note
Plain text can be boring sometime. Actually, with some simple formatting styles and creativity a lot of people can create beautiful things with just the same words. Formatting can be achieved by using tags in the note. Given below is a list of formatting that can be used in a note and their corresponding tags, which are pretty much html tags.

When you have read and used the tutorials practically till the last topic, i am sure you have created at least a trial note so far. You notes can be view from your notes page. On your notes page, towards the top you will find two options:
My Notes: This link displays all your notes.
Notes About Me: This link displays all the notes in which you have been tagged. Sometimes you might be tagged in notes that you don’t like. In that case, click on the title of the note you don’t like. On the right side of the page, under ‘In this note’ section, you will see your profile photo and name. Simply click ‘remove tag’ under your name. The note will no longer lead to your profile.
Commenting on Notes
Whether it is your own note or your friends’ note, there will come a time when you have to comment on it. Commenting on notes is simple and is done just like you would comment on a photo, video, or any published story. Just type your comment in the text box at the bottom of the note and click on ‘Comment’ button. If you are commenting of someone else note, remember that in some cases, the person who wrote the note may have privacy settings in place that prevent others from adding a comment. So, don’t freak out thinking that you don’t know how to do it.
Enabling or Disabling Comments on Notes
By default, anyone who can see your notes can comment on them. To edit this setting, click the ‘Edit notes privacy’ link located in the right column of the Notes main page. On the following page, select your preferred privacy setting and click ‘Save’. Check the image below.

Editing a Note
To edit a note that you have already written, click “Edit Note” below the note’s title. Once you have finished editing the note, be sure to save. Notifications will not be published on your your profile wall when you edit a note. They are published only when you successfully create a new note.
To view saved drafts of notes you have written, select the ‘Drafts’ tab under ‘My Notes’ page. Sometimes the ‘Drafts’ tab will not come out. It happens when you don’t have any drafts.
Importing blog from external sources and mobile notes will be discussed in another tutorial. So far, i hope all is cool and may this little tutorial helps you.
