The two Facebook app launched by Wacom, Bamboo DoodleScape and Bamboo CardBuilder promises to make Facebook a lot more Fun.
These free applications provide users with an open drawing canvas and digital card builder opens up an entirely new experience and personalized way to interact and connect with family and friends on Facebook.
With the Bamboo DoodleScape, Cardbuilder, a little bit of creativity and enthusiasm; I bet you will certainly have more fun sharing on Facebook. You can make your doodles, save them in your DoodleScape, post on your wall, sent them to your friends, or share your personal masterpiece on the Wacom’s DoodleScape. Sending and receiving different types of drinks was a rage when “Pass a Drink” app was popular.{sigh} You can now send and receive real drinks on Facebook through a service called Bartab.
Using a cell phone and Facebook, Bartab is lets you send vouchers for actual drinks that can be collected at local watering holes. The drinks are cheap costing the sender and recipient $1 apiece.
At the moment, the service is available only in the San Francisco and Los Angeles areas and in New York, but more markets including Seattle, Atlanta and Houston will be added in the next few months.
Here is how it works: After signing up for the service, you choose a bar and a drink. Select a Facebook friend to send the drink to, and the drink will show up on your friend’s Facebook profile. The recipient, must also sign up for Bartab before imbibing. Drinks should be claimed within three months with a text-message coupon.
So, go ahead and buy your friends a drink, instead of just writing on their wall.
Shop.com, comparision shopping site, have launched a shopping application on Facebook aiming to provide a compelling shopping expreience for its users.
The application can be accessed from the Shop.com’s Facebook Fan page through the “SHOP” tab. Users can now shop and compare prices across 2000 stores using the search box within the app.
Shop.com’s merchants partners can also benifit from the app by installing application to their own Facebook fan pages free of charge, enabling users to shop through their fan page too.
The application also features product recommendations from stores and categories selected by the merchandising team.
Facebook uses can now shop for everything from eyeliners to clothes to electronics to furnitures, without leaving Facebook.

If you are one of those people who shares tons of photos, videos and other contents on Facebook, then i have good news for you. Samsung’s new app or game (is they call it) called Thr!veOne is there to recognize your effort and award you with medals.
Thr!veOn as a Facebook gives users the chance to earn points for sharing content on their Facebook Page. Sharing photos, videos, and status updates are some way of earning points. Players unlock medals by accumulating points and can make their way into the leaderboard.
The more interesting thing about the app/game is, Thr!veOn puts everything you share in a snazzy looking interface, that looks way better than in the ordinary Facebook page, which can be viewed according to a timeline.

Leading online videogame distributor of PC and Mac games, GamersGate, launch an open beta GamersGate store on Facebook, bringing its entire store catalog to users on Facebook. The app features an easy one-click login that allow users to shop for games without leaving Facebook.
Through the app, users can – search, browse, and add games to their carts; publish their GamersGate activities on Facebook; view product information and screen shots; save favorites and share them with Facebook friends; add fellow GamersGate friends to their GamersGate buddy lits and monitor the games they are buying or reviewing.
Currently, transaction takes place at the GamersGate online store, which is attributed to Facebook’s 30% cut on transaction involving Facebook Credits. The store is in open beta testing and if successful, the company plans to continue expanding to other soical networks and portals.
6Rounds, now changed to just Rounds, has announced the launch of its interactive video chat for Facebook platform through an app called Video Chat Rounds.
Now, users of Video Chat Rounds can engage themselves in video conversation without the need to download any software or browser plug-ins.
On top of video chats, users will also be able to browse Facebook profiles together, take photo stills from the video stream, play games, share Flickr photos, watch YouTube videos, exchange virtual gifts, and more.

Facebook has launched its own real time web-streaming with Facebook Live.
Facebook said this is just the beginning and they plan to use the channel for news streams, press event, and special celebrity event.
The first event will feature actress America Ferrera and Director Wilmer Valderrama and they will be talking about their new movie “The Dry Land.”
Like most live video platforms, the app has integrated chat and broadcast feeds. The Live app is also embeddable.

Facebook’s plan to add geolocation feature to its service have been long rumored. A CNET report says that Facebook will be adding location to it’s developer API with weeks.
The application is expected to integrate existing check-in start-ups through their respective API’s making location a key part of the service.
Facebook is said to have partnered with Localeze, local-search company that lets Twitter users attack a location to their tweets. Facebook is expected to use Localeze’s directory in it’s geolocation product.
Facebook has also recently acquired another check-in service, if you remember, called Hot Potato, which let members check into events.
For start-up like Foursquare, Loopt and Gowalla, API integration will make their service more useful with access to 500 million Facebook users. But, if Facebook introduces its own check-in service, companies dominating the geolocation scene may be in big trouble.
With the geolocation feature, Facebook’s will become all the more indispensable to marketers because 500 million users and highly targeted ads is an irresistible offer. With location information of a user, Facebook can push locality-specific ads, and this will be a big blow to local medias.
Adding geolocation feature will also give Facebook an edge over Google’s rumored “Google Me,” but the more important thing is how the users of Facebook will receive it.

India’s largest entertainment ticketing portal, Bookmyshow, has launched a prebook Application on Facebook known as Ticket Buddy, as part of their 3rd anniversary celebration.
Movies due to release (up to two weeks) will be available for booking. Users can prebook their tickets in three easy steps:
‘Ticket Buddy’ allows users to book a maximum of 10 seats. Once a user pays for his own tickets, an ‘Invite Friends’ dialog box pops up and he/she can select up to 9 friends and sent request to watch the movie. As with any other request on Facebook, users can ‘Accept’ or ‘Ignore’ the request. Users will be taken to the Ticket Buddy application and pay for a maximum of 2 seats if they accept the request.
The application is in beta at the moment. Regular ticket booking will also be available on Ticket Buddy soon. The application also features a list of top 5 movies on bookmyshow and a list of latest movies, to help users in making up their mind.
