A no-nonsense father from North Carolina is making national headlines after he posted a video response to his daughter’s “disrespectful” Facebook rant.

Tommy Jordan said his 15-year-old daughter, Hannah, wrote a letter entitled “Dear Parents” on Facebook complaining about the chores she had to do around the house.

According to a report on ninemsn, Hannah blocked her parents from seeing it, but her father, an IT professional, somehow managed to view the post.

The father upset about the rant took his frustration on her daughter’s laptop, in what he described as a dose of “tough love”.

Jordan filmed an 8-minute video response to Hannah’s letter and posted it on her wall for all her friends to see.

In the video, he reads out his daughter’s letter and says, “I don’t know how to say how disappointed I am in you, and how disrespectful you were to every single adult in your life.”

Kid, you’ve got it easy, way easy. It’s about to get harder, it’s about to get a whole lot harder.”

Mr Jordan then pulls out a handgun and shoots nine bullets into Hannah’s computer, including “one from mum.”

The video titled “Facebook parenting: For the troubled teen” has gone viral on YouTube with over 800,000 views in just two days.

Mr Jordan’s post on Facebook that read, “Today was probably the most disappointing day of my life as a father and I don’t know how to correct the situation. Since I can’t seem to make any headway with my daughter on Facebook, I chose instead to remedy the problem permanently,” with a link to the YouTube video has also attracted more than 13,000 likes, about 6000 shares, and almost 7000 comments at the time of writing.

While some feels that the action was immature, most comments praised his action.

What do you think about this “Facebook Parenting?”

Would I rejoice if I find a link to a leaked sex tape of Katy Perry and Russell Brand? I guess I will go… OMG!!!!! And check it out.

As we all know the two celebrities are in the middle of a divorce, I would be betting to myself on who flew off the handle and leaked the video online.

But don’t do that.

If you find links that says “Watch Katy Perry and Russell Brand Sex Tape Leaked to Facebook,” please don’t do that wooohhh thing. It is just another scam. Scammers are smart people who do their homework well. They know what’s hot and trending, and they will offer the things people would jump at without thinking.

Going through the link will take you to a Facebook look-alike page asking you to install a Divx plugin, saying you don’t have the plugin required to view the video, making the process look very realistic.

Many users who are not paying attention to the page will think that the premium YouTube plugin is legitimate. But, one look at the address bar of the page will tell you that the page is certainly does not belong to Facebook. This is where many users will stop.

Installing plugins from untrusted source can leave your system as well as your private information like login credentials totally vulnerable to the scammers.

We advise you not to risk yourself for a video that may or may not exist.

The Australian Army has launched an investigation into racist comments and videos posted on Facebook allegedly by soldiers serving in Afghanistan.

According to the AAP, the soldiers refer to Afghanis as “sand coons”, “dune coons”, “niggers”, “smelly locals”, and “raghead.”

A video from Facebook aired on Seven News shows Australians bombing a bridge in Afghanistan. A local man is shown running away from the explosion, while a soldier is heard saying that the blast “scared the f— out of that mufti.”

Acting Chief of Army Paul Symon said the behavior undermines everything Australia is trying to achieve in Afghanistan.

He told the Network, “There will be thousands of soldiers disgusted at what we’re looking at,” and added that the concerned soldiers could face serious consequences.
