Square Enix Ltd. joined the social gaming scene on Facebook by launching two games called Chocobo’s Crystal Tower and Knights of the Crystals.
Chocobo’s Crystal Tower is a pet-rearing RPG that features the popular Final Fantasy Chocobo characters. Players raise and breed chocobos on a ranch and send them on adventures at various Towers that appear across the world.
The other game, Knights of the Crystals is also an RPG game. Players challenge and cooperate with friends to complete quests and earn gold and treasures. Players can mater a variety of jobs and gain special abilities for earning more treasures or to become more powerful in battles.
The second title boasts a distinctive art style with characters designed by Ryoma Ito, who is best known for his works for Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings.
“We’re pleased to be supporting social gaming with these two exciting new Facebook games that offer very different but fun and friendly experiences,” says Square Enix’s Digital sales director Antony Douglas. “Both titles encourage socializing and adventure and boast a wide variety of content to keep players entertained.”
