Alex Cross, the psychologist and homicide investigator created by best-selling mystery writer James Patterson continues his investigation on Facebook in the game James Patterson: Catch A Killer.
In the game, users will takes the role of detective Alex Cross’ partner and visit different crime scenes, question witnesses and suspects, collect evidence, check fingerprints and DNA, and solve crimes.
In an interview with USA Today, the best-selling author says, Catch A Killer is the first crime-solving, mature/adults-only, author-created Facebook game.
The game is developed by Sony Online, and is launched with 11 crime scenes, but Patterson says that they are up to around 40.
The game also features social networking component, and players can invite their friends to play the game, and help one another, create and use avatars and chat online.
One thing to remember though, the game is free to play, but players must be over 18 years of age due to scenes of violence in the game.
