Leading coffeehouse chain company Starbucks updated its Facebook app, 
Starbucks Card Facebook app, with a new Give a Gift feature.
Through this new feature, users will be able to load the friend’s registered Starbucks card with cash from $5 to $500 directly. The process is relatively easy – select a friend, specify the amount, choose a theme, add a personal note if you want, pay, and share about it (if you want).
The idea is said to be the 100th launched idea from the Starbucks’ community site, My Starbucks Idea.
Now, you can easily treat your friends to Starbucks coffee or better still, If you find it difficult to keep your promise to meet up with friends for a cup of coffee, use the Starbucks way to show your apology in style
