teacher suspended

A spell of students being suspended regarding Facebook post and misuse grabbed the news in the recent past. Now, it seems like it’s teacher’s turn. Last week, an East Stroudsburg University professor was suspended over a Facebook post.

Now, according to a report on the Telegraph, a teaching assistant accused of using Facebook to mock a four-year-old who cried in class has been suspended.

Parents have reportedly started a petition demanding that she is not allowed to return to work at Lowerhouse CE Junior and Infant School in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

Yamine Judge allegedly posted a message on Facebook saying she found it “funny” when the pupil, Faye McDonnell, burst into tears after being punished.

Faye’s mum, Louise McDonnell, said that Faye suffers from laryngitis and she started breathing heavily and became upset after Ms Judge told her off.

The school’s head teacher, Paul Scrimshaw, reportedly apologized for the incident and told that even if Ms Judge comes back to work, it will be with the older children.

But, Ms McDonnel is not satisfied with it and is said to have gather 60 signature already for a petition demanding that the teaching assistant be barred from returning to the school.
