Like most Facebook games, the player will go through a quick hands-on tutorial at the beginning of the game to teach him or her how to search for treasure. Digging the land may reveal fruits that can add health points; various equipment to help in digging; gold for buying new items; museum dollars for equipment upgrades, health kits, or maps; or if unlucky, nothing.

Sometimes, to get the treasure, the player will be asked to play a game. These micro games only last for only a few seconds and are all very easy to play and comprehended. There are seven of them:

  • Chestris
  • Gem Swap – similar to Bejeweled
  • Fruittle – like Bejeweled except one drags an entire row or column to put together 3 or more fruits
  • Jewel Drop
  • Pearls Mania
  • Stone Breaker
  • Memory – which is the typical memory game

When digging for treasure, the player looses health points. Each health point, however, is replenished every 35 seconds.

After the tutorial, the player can get two maps: the Cross Island and the Coconut Island maps, where he or she can start digging for treasure. Be wise in choosing the maps. Go for maps that have more treasures and gold. The game is very basic but it can definitely get you hooked once you started playing it. (Click HERE to play.)
