Peteranswers.com presents a simple interface in which you have to petition the enigmatic Peter to answer your question. Upon asking your question, he gives a surprisingly accurate answer.

Don’t worry, he’s not a mind reader, and no, neither the Internet nor aliens are invading your brain. It’s a simple trick that you can actually scare or amaze your friends or family with.

To start, have someone ask a question. If you know the answer, go to the petition box and press the period key. Type in the answer and, voila! The program will immediately mask the answer and replace it with a generic petition. If the answer is too short, just keep pressing the period key until you form a grammatically sound “petition”

Next, type in the question in the question box. Upon pressing the question mark key, the program will immediately execute the answer and the answer you secretly typed in the petition box will be displayed.

To give you a headstart, here’s some of our favorite questions to “ask” Peter.

  • Where are we right now?
  • What’s my name?
  • What’s the color of my shirt?
  • When is my birthday?
  • What is my favorite holiday?

Ready to give it a try? Head to peteranswers.com to practice your sneaky typing skills. Alternatively, you can head to this detailed guide by wikiHow if you’re still a bit confused on how to use the peteranswers.com interface. Have fun!
